The list of problems is large. I had talked to the hotel's manager while still in the hotel. After traveling for over 30 countries around the world and having stayed in several 5 Stars hotels, I can say I have a background to compare. Swissotel Kolasin, in my opinion, is built on image and name. In practical life what I experienced was a cold room due to the (whole) hotel heating system Off even with low temperatures outside, a poor service in the restaurant, I heated swimming pool with unpleasant and unexpected cold water, a sauna with urine smelling, a hard mattress that gave me pain in my shoulders and hips (same for my wife), a led light that illuminated the room during night (stayed 3 nights, slept very badly all 3 nights), a bathroom that gets wet out of the shower place after short time shower, a not well illuminated ambient during breakfast (to the point that was difficult to see details in some food items while choosing them), missing items on breakfast even just one hour after opening time, there was no one to help with baggage when we arrived, there's no ramp to get to the reception with the luggages, there was no assistance with the luggages to the room and no explanation on how to use somethings in the room, very unclear signs for water adjustment in the shower (C is not for Cold, it's for Caldo [hot], in italian), without red or blue signs to better comprehension, changing room in the SPA with just one hook to hang clothes while changing, not even one hook to hang clothes while changing clothes in the Changing Room (and I was avoiding to get naked out of the toilet because the female receptionist had to enter twice in the Changing Room due to a locker malfunction), locker not working properly made my clothes to be locked after getting wet, gym with warm air temperature (yes, heating was not working in the rooms but the gym was inadequately warm, feeling like 27 degrees Celsius or more), reception entrance door doesn't have double doors (those to avoid cold air to invade the ambient) making the ambient air in the hall very cold when someone opened the door to enter or leave the hotel, etc

We enojed hotel very much - everything was great but there was one major minus - heating was not working in hotel even though outside temperature was below zero. Spa area was very cold - abot 22 degrees celsius. All in all that would be a shame for any hotel, but having in mind that this was luxuxy swissotel it is really terrible - at the end we all cought cold and went sick....

The structure was okay, but the service was disappointing. The heaters were turned off even though it was 4°C during the night, and the reception service was very disappointing. The breakfast as well was cold and bad.

Very well located and beautiful hotel nothing to say about it My problem was that apparently it’s not the season and they could not turn the heating on so I could not sleep at night It was freezing and very cold That was one of worst night of my life in a such a hotel Very bizarre Maybe it’s normal I don’t know but for me was very disappointed situation and couldn’t wait to leave in the morning And on top of that the reception guy was more like a strict german soldier than a receptionist No kindness no sweat talk no welcoming word let alone warm welcoming Nothing Just orders give me passport give me this give me that It looked forced to work there
