Overall, we had a good impression of the hotel. The nature is absolutely beautiful, and the spa facilities are excellent. However, there were a few issues that unfortunately affected our overall experience. First, the room felt a little outdated, and the telephone was not working. As a result, I had to go downstairs to the reception to ask for the restaurant menus. I was told they would be sent to my WhatsApp within 2–3 minutes, but we ended up waiting for around 30 minutes. By that time, we had already managed to find the menus ourselves. The second issue occurred after my spa treatments, which included a facial. I wasn’t informed in advance that facial oil would be used, and since this is not something I usually expect during a facial, I was unprepared for it. Once I found out, I specifically asked them to cover my hair with a cap because I had a very important photoshoot the following day. Unfortunately, when I returned to my room, I discovered that my hair was still heavily covered in oil. Since I have curly hair, I need a hairdryer with a diffuser to dry it properly. Using a regular hairdryer would simply leave my hair frizzy and unmanageable. I contacted reception and asked if they could help me find a diffuser. The staff member said he would check, but even after I followed up a second time, he never got back to me. We ended up waiting for around three hours, and I eventually had to go downstairs again and explain the entire situation from scratch. The situation was so frustrating that I seriously considered checking out and going home that same day, as the following day was extremely important to me. I would, however, like to express my sincere gratitude to Adiya, who was understanding and genuinely willing to help. Thanks to her, one of her colleagues brought a diffuser from home the following morning. I am truly grateful to both of them for their kindness and for taking the situation seriously. Overall, the hotel has wonderful nature and a great spa, but the condition of the rooms and the service provided by certain staff members need improvement. It is particularly disappointing when simple requests require repeated reminders and hours of waiting. I hope management will take this feedback seriously, as these details can make a significant difference to a guest’s overall experience.

EVERYTHING was amazing! I enjoyed it so much that I would've loved if we could stay longer. The whole place is so quiet and zen, you can walk there easily 10K and won't even be bored of the surrounding of the resort. I enjoyed the lake, the spa, the food, basically everything. The ladies staff were super polite and nice, they even opened few topics while we were checking in. We needed extra blanket, and in 5 min they brought it. they even give us a small cake as we were celebrating there. Honestly the best place in Almaty.

No amount of praise will do justice to this stunning property. Swissotel Almaty got my attention while I was scrolling for places to stay for our trip to Almaty. Although it wasn't recommended by many due to the distance, I was really keen on spending a couple of nights there and I'm so glad we went ahead and did that. From the moment you enter the gates to the time you arrive at your room, every corner of the property is breathtakingly beautiful. Surrounded by pine trees and snow capped mountains, the view from our room was something we could not have enough of. The property is exceptionally well equipped, featuring multiple indoor and outdoor heated pools, a hydrotherapy pool, a hammam, dedicated kids play areas, two excellent restaurants and the most beautiful gardens. Outstanding service by every department to top it all off. Will definitely be recommending this to anyone who's planning a trip to Almaty. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

It was very good, would like to give one feedback- the kids club should open earlier, say around 10am. 11am is too late.
