The room was clean and comfortable.

The lobby is nice, room service solid, and halls/elevators are nice. The rooms… are fine. I was honestly surprised to see yellowing plastic light switches from 80s or 90s, shower that leaked profusely into the bathroom, and sink drain that never actually drained all the way. The AC and bed were on point, which was the key stuff. But peripherally, it felt like the space didn’t quite live up to my expectations based on your marketing materials.

It was good stay but the food and drink prices are insane. Draft beer should not be almost $15 with a tip. An omelet should be $22

Great location. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was great!

I typically stay at the nearby Fairmont Chicago for my recent visits as both of my daughters live in the Lakeshore East neighborhood. I decided to try Swissotel for a last minute visit, and it was just fantastic. Check in was easy--friendly staff greeted me, offered a lovely upgrade, and my room was nice, cool, and clean. Any request for extras--towels, a fan, etc.-were met quickly and kindly. I now have a new favorite in the neighborhood!
