Dear Hotel Management, I wish to formally raise a complaint regarding the way the breakfast package was presented to me at check-in. During check-in, I was offered a discounted breakfast package and was clearly informed that it would cost USD 200 in total for my stay. Based on that representation, I accepted the offer. It therefore came as a complete surprise during check-out when I was informed that I would be required to pay an additional AED 300+. This was never explained to me at the point of sale, nor was I made aware of any extra charges or conditions. To make matters more concerning, I only had breakfast on approximately five occasions during my stay, making the final amount even more difficult to understand. This lack of transparency falls well below the standard I expected from your hotel. Guests should be able to rely on information provided by your front desk staff without discovering unexpected charges at check-out. I respectfully request that management investigate this matter, review the conduct and training of the staff involved, and provide a clear explanation of how these charges were calculated. If I was incorrectly informed at check-in, I believe an appropriate adjustment should be considered. I enjoyed my stay overall, but this experience has left me disappointed and has affected my confidence in your billing process. I hope management will treat this matter seriously and ensure that future guests are not placed in the same position. I look forward to your prompt response.
